Did you know Kingston was one of the original ridings when our country was founded, and that this riding has been held federally by different Conservative MPs for nearly 70 years since that time? Today, our Electoral District Association stands on the shoulders of the men and women who have represented Kingston since 1867, and carry forward their legacy into the historic moment we find ourselves in.
The Kingston and the Islands Electoral District Association (EDA) is your grassroots local riding association for the Conservative Party of Canada for the riding of Kingston and the Islands. The EDA is led by a volunteer board of directors, all of whom are members of the party, and it is our responsibility to select candidates, fundraise, and generally support party activities in the riding. The EDA is a non-profit funded by donations from party members and like-minded individuals.
About The Riding
Our riding currently includes the City of Kingston, as well as the Township of Frontenac Islands. Note that updated riding boundaries went into effect in April 2024. Not sure if you live in the Kingston and the Islands riding? Confirm your riding with Elections Canada’s Voter Information Service.
